I am based in Sydney and I have spent six years writing about the offshore casinos that accept Australian players. I trace claims to their origin. When RollXO's licence badge says OGL/2024/161/0191, I open the Curaçao register and read what the register says - not what a competitor's review says the register says. That is how I found that the same licence number certifies a sister brand in the same group, and that the operator most Australian pages name does not exist.
I read the terms clause by clause, or I read a published clause-by-clause analysis and say so. I do not paraphrase a terms document I have not opened and present the paraphrase as reading.
I count. Five welcome packages across the Australian results for one brand is a countable fact. Four game counts for one lobby is a countable fact. The arithmetic that shows a $15,000 bonus needs $21,000 of deposits to collect is a countable fact, and nobody else in that search result did it.
Payment rails and cashier behaviour. Which methods actually pay out, which are deposit-only, where the caps sit and in which currency they are denominated. The euro-denominated cap on an AUD-native account is the kind of detail that costs a player money and never appears in a review.
Licensing. Curaçao's regime changed on 24 December 2024 when the LOK ordinance took effect, and every live licence converted automatically to a provisional one. Most reviewers do not know that, which is why they read an expired term as a scandal or a valid badge as a vetting.
Complaint records. Public dispute platforms publish the full text of cases. A resolved dispute over $46 that ran a month tells you more about an operator than a hundred five-star reviews.
I do not invent measurements. If I have not made a deposit and clocked a withdrawal at a casino, I do not write "my withdrawal cleared in two hours". Where a live cashier test is the only way to close a question - PayID availability at RollXO is the current example - I say the question is open and name what would close it.
I do not treat a competitor's review as a source. If a figure exists only on affiliate pages and cannot be traced to a register, a regulator, a terms document or a documented dispute, it does not go on the page.
I do not soften a review for a commercial partner. The RollXO review scores 3.4 out of 5 and lists seven specific negatives, and the site earns commission on it. Both of those things are true at once, and the affiliate disclosure explains how.
